I read The Great Adventure Bible along with Fr。 Mike Schmidt’s Bible in A Year Podcast。 If you’ve never read the Bible all the way through， I highly recommend doing it along with this podcast。 It is arranged in chronological order。 Each podcast is 20-25 minutes long - breaking it into pieces this way made it less daunting。 Fr。 Mike’s commentary each day made it meaningful and helped me understand things about God and His plan and what that I never would have without his guidance。

Finally finished！ Took a long， long time！。 I did read this while doing Bible in a Year Podcast， but did not use that timeline， i just read from start to finish。 While I have read all around the Bible， this is the first time I read from start to finish。 This was a great Bible to read。 The way he breaks up the sections made it a lot easier to understand。 The book is always put together well， the print easier to read and the maps in the back very helpful。

I bought this bible to follow along with the podcast series by Father Mike Schmitz， the Bible in a Year podcast。 The podcast and bible are organized on the Great Adventure timeline by Jeff Cavins。 It is the first time I got through the whole bible and understood the narrative and the non narrative other books and salvation history。 I am so grateful I found this and highly recommend it to all - the very religious， sort of religious and non religious。 All will gain a lot from it。
